The Rev. Matthew Paul Buccheri is the Rector at the Church of St. Edward the Martyr.
Fr. Matthew has a passion for preaching, teaching, and writing about the saving work of Jesus Christ, and for preserving and fostering the spiritual, liturgical, and sacramental traditions of the historic church. He is associated with numerous Anglo-Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and similar groups and boards, including the Institute for Studies in Eastern Christianity, the Oratory of the Good Shepherd, the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, the Sophia Institute, and the North American Academy of Liturgy.
Prior to his call to Anglican orders, he served as an ordained minister at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. He has many years of experience as a professional church consultant, focusing on church planting, renewal, and revitalization. He is a graduate of General Theological Seminary (STM, 2015), Westminster Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2004), and New York University (double BA, 2000).
