The Church of St. Edward the Martyr is an historic, Anglo-Catholic parish in East Harlem, New York City, and home to a bilingual congregation. Our mission is to worship in the historic tradition of the church, to grow disciples of Jesus Christ, and to serve the poor. In all we do, we seek to proclaim the good news that Jesus freely gives forgiveness and eternal life to those who trust in him.

Because Jesus Christ is the summit and the source of all Christian worship and life, the Church of St. Edward the Martyr orders its ministry above all to the Holy Mass, the sacraments, and the right preaching of Christ crucified—the primary sources of life and grace within the Church.

We hope to help East Harlem and all New Yorkers rediscover a profound sense of the sacred through solemn liturgies, devotions, sacred music, and instruction in Church heritage, doctrine, and the good news of Christ.
